How many people can the house accommodate? +

The home comfortably sleeps up to 21 guests across 8 bedrooms + a den.

Is there a pool and hot tub? +

Yes, the home features a private pool and hot tub for your enjoyment. Pool heating is available for $500/week and must be requested at least 3 days before arrival.

Is beach access easy? +

Absolutely! The home has a private walkway over the dune, giving you direct access to the beach.

Do you offer any dining or chef services? +

Yes! We partner with several top-tier private chefs and catering services that can cook for your group right in the home. Let us know if you'd like help coordinating.

Are there any house rules I should know about? +

Yes – please no unregistered guests, no smoking indoors, no parties without approval, and no glitter or dye. Full house rules are provided upon booking.

How to get there? +

The nearest airport is Norfolk International Airport, about 2.5 hours away. Renting a 4×4 vehicle is recommended to reach the home.

What is unique about the 4×4 area? +

The 4×4 area features wide beaches, maritime forests, and marshes with no paved roads. You’ll drive on the beach and dunes, and may spot wild Corolla horses nearby.

Are passes required to drive or park on the 4×4 beaches? +

Parking permits are required from late April to early October. No pass is needed to drive on the beach or park at the home.

How to purchase parking passes? +

Passes cost $50/week and can be bought online at currituckcountync.ticketspice.com. They must be picked up in person.

Any suggestions for driving on 4×4 beaches? +

Use 4×4/AWD with 7.5"+ clearance, lower tire pressure to 18-20 psi, avoid saltwater, check tides, and observe speed limits and parking rules.

Is there a security deposit? +

Yes, a temporary hold is placed on your card before check-in and released after a damage-free inspection.

Do you charge an event fee? +

Yes, event fees cover extra guests, linens, trash removal, vendor flexibility, and dedicated support to ensure a smooth event experience.

What does the event fee include and how is it different? +

The fee covers up to 50 event-only guests, linens, towels, trash removal, and extra insurance/support for larger gatherings beyond regular rental.
